The Atlanta History Center is home to 33 acres of beautiful gardens, including the Mary Howard Gilbert Memorial Quarry Garden, the Smith Family Farm, Swan House & Gardens, Frank A. Smith Rhododendron Garden, Sims Asian American Garden, Swan Woods and the Wood Family Cabin, and the Connor Brown Discovery Trail. In addition to our outdoor gardens, the Cherokee Garden Library is a free and public resource for anyone searching for information regarding the gardening arts or botanical knowledge, and contains over 28,000 books, photographs, manuscripts, seed catalogs, and landscape drawings. The Library also hosts lectures, exhibitions, and tours, all available to the public.
