Horticulture Department Internship Summer 2022
1.) Responsible for helping the Gardeners in completing daily tasks in the various gardens looking their best.
2.) Perform general and specialized garden maintenance of the Club grounds (weeding, watering, pruning, deadheading, staking, etc.)
3.) Perform turf grass maintenance utilizing a wide variety of materials and equipment.
4.) Helpful and courteous to all members of the Club.
5.) Assist with educational offerings including tours and workshop.
6.) Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience
1.) Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program or have recently graduated.
2.) Must have either completed course work or acquired practical experience in horticulture or a related field.
3.) Must be willing and able to learn new tasks.
4.) Good communication skills.
5.) Must be able to work with others.
6.) Ability to work outdoors year around (no adverse reactions to heat, cold, pollen, dust, etc.).
7.) Ability to lift over 50 pounds.
